Summer Songwriting Retreat

The All Roads Music Festival offers seasonal workshops that continue our mission to celebrate and support independent emerging artists.

The Summer Songwriting Retreat allows musicians to immerse themselves in this 3-day songwriting program focused on developing your original material while receiving expert support and feedback from current industry professionals and learning tips and tricks for being successful in today’s music industry.

Registration / What to Expect

Registration is open through July 20.

Workshop Attendees can commute in daily or choose the Residential Option which includes 2-nights stay on campus + meals. Commuters can also select to purchase meals on campus.

Curriculum

As part of the workshop, you will participate in several core classes as well as selecting from a list of elective classes offered. On Saturday evening we regularly host a special music industry guest speaker.

Performance Opportunities

Attendees will have two opportunities to perform in front of their peers on Friday and Saturday evening. The Saturday Open Mic performance is also open to the public.

Requirements

General Requirements

All students 16 and older with some background in songwriting are welcome to attend. Residential (overnight) students must be 18 or older.

We recommend participants possess a proficient level of English to enroll in this program and understand class material and assignments.

Materials

Students are welcome but not required to bring completed work to showcase during the workshop. You are also welcome, but not required to bring an instrument and accessories. Students are responsible for the well being of any instruments they bring!

Costs, Payment Plans & Tuition Assistance

• $375 – Registration cost for non-residential enrollment (commuter / no overnight lodging)
• $660 – Registration cost for residential enrollment (2-nights stay + meals)
• $90 – Meals add-on (see breakdown) *individual meals can be purchased on site for $15

If you are a Residential Attendee or you are commuting and would like to purchase the meal plan, the following meals are provided:
Friday: Dinner
Saturday: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Sunday: Breakfast

Individual meals can be purchased from the cafeteria for $15 or a la carte
