This annual keystone event highlights an essential part of our music scene, and one that often gets overlooked; the singer-songwriter. Featuring performances by selected songwriters in the round, each takes turns performing their work or covers of work by artists who inspired them, sharing stories of their life and inspiration, and engaging our audience to reveal their songwriting process.

Young musicians Adele Edelawit, Alma June, & Kai Luc of Monaco Studios speak about the challenges of being young in the Maine music scene like open mics in 21+ settings, the cost of travel, limitations of their geographic locations and more. How do they navigate these challenges and continue to grow and improve their music and live performance? This hour will feature discussions about the challenges these young creatives face with mini- performances scattered throughout. Presented by Monaco Studios & Equal Measure Arts.

Revisited: State of the Maine Music Scene (10 Years Later)

In 2015 we launched the All Roads Music Festival in Belfast, Maine and with it, our first ever discussion panel “State of the Maine Music Scene”. The panel explored the state of the current Maine music landscape asit pertained to musicians experiences, opportunities and perception in the larger music world. Panelists will be asked to share their unique perspective as musicians and presenters working in Maine and the New England region, how the scene has evolved, reshaped through COVID, venue closures, economy shifts, where it is now and where they see it going from here a decade later.
